Hi, I’m Imogen.
I’m the laziest person ever (but working on it!) exploring the world with my partner and travel bud, Tim.
Tim writes about travel and the hospitality industry (read: booze) over at Boilermaker Travel.
Welcome to my blog! I write about slow travel and self-improvement.
A bit about me…
I started travelling in July 2015 after booking a one-way flight to Australia from the UK on a whim. I like the comfortable things in life. Squishy beds, cosy blankets, Netflix, frequent stops for coffee and cake when I venture outside. This is totally not something someone with a travel blog should be admitting.
Before travelling, I lived in Sheffield, the city where I’d completed my degree in English Language and Linguistics and thought I would settle down there for life. Though settling down isn’t on the cards right now, Sheffield remains one of my favourite cities in the whole world.
Unsurprisingly, I’m a huge advocate for slow travel. If you have the privilege of time, slow travel allows you to fully immerse yourself in a place and get to understand it. It’s also way less stressful.
Where Am I Now?
I’m currently backpacking Southeast Asia with plans to head to New Zealand for a working holiday after that!
